Eli is the new guy at Studio Galactica. When he’s not cutting hair he is parenting two neurodivergent kids, trying (not too successfully) to expand his American Sign Language skills, chasing a big hairy dog, and perpetually feeding the family’s pet rabbits.

Eli is passionate about providing a safe space for everyone, he has experience helping kids and adults who experience fear in relation to getting their hair cut. In addition, he understands some people prefer a very quiet haircut experience while others love to chat. You can request a quiet appointment anytime you book with him, no pressure!

As a queer trans guy Eli knows the importance of finding an affirming and friendly hairdresser who will honor your journey and help you feel euphoric in your body. From clipper cuts to luscious locks he’s here for it!
Outside of the hairy universe Eli wants to learn about new topics all the time- if you have a hyper fixation or speciality he’d love to hear all about it. Currently astrobiology is fascinating him, along with a persistent interest in all things mysterious, paranormal, or spooky! Some of his favorite authors include Octavia Butler, Ursula K Le Guin, Liu Cixin, and Jeff VanderMeer. Got audiobook or podcast recommendations?
